Undergraduate Research

Kimberly Frauhammer studies a weather map

Exciting research happens everyday at the University of Michigan Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering. Be a part of it by earning an undergraduate degree in Climate and Meteorology or in Space Sciences and Engineering. Undergraduate students have the opportunity to analyze spacecraft data, forecast weather, understand the atmosphere through computer modeling and more. Learn more about the undergraduate curriculum by visiting the Undergraduate Studies page.

For undergraduates interested in research experiences, learn about the U-M-SANSA International Research Experience for Students. There are also other undergraduate research opportunities throughout the university and beyond.
