Biography

Melissa F. Priebe is the Manager of Marketing & Communications for the University of Michigan Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering (U-M Climate & Space.) She holds a B.A. in Journalism from Miami University of Ohio and worked for many newspapers, colleges and universities in Minnesota for 11 years, before moving to Michigan, where she has resided since 2018. She previously worked for the Michigan State University College of Communication Arts and Sciences, where she covered topics ranging from journalism and public relations, to the advanced study of communicative sciences and disorders. She is thrilled to work at U-M Climate & Space, covering research, student work and new initiatives that support our changing climate and space exploration.
