Dissertation Title: “Characteristics and Generation Mechanism of Polar Cap Patch: Multi-instrument Observations”
Faculty Advisor: Shasha Zou
Dr. Ren will be working as a software engineer at Google, while pursuing a role in the industry. His research interests include auroral physics, space weather, coupling of the Earth ionosphere and magnetosphere, and data science and machine learning.
