Michigan Geophysical Union Symposium Showcases Student Research

The 2025 Michigan Geophysical Union Symposium gives students the opportunity to share their research in April.

The 21st Annual Michigan Geophysical Union (MGU) Symposium took place on April 3-4, 2025, bringing students from several departments at the University of Michigan together to exhibit and present on their research projects.

The MGU Symposium is a friendly forum designed to showcase and reward outstanding student research in various aspects of Earth, oceanic, atmospheric, and space sciences, while also fostering interdepartmental dialogue and camaraderie. The student-organized event invites all faculty, staff, graduate, and undergraduate students to attend to learn about the exciting research taking place in the U-M science community.
