Dissertation Title: “New Insights into the Coronal Heating Problem: Analysis of Spectral Line Widths in the Solar Corona”
Faculty Advisors: Professor Susan T. Lepri and Professor Enrico Landi.
Dr. Yingjie Zhu will be moving to Washington D.C. for a postdoctoral researcher position at the Physical Meteorological Observatory in Davos and the World Radiation Centre in Switzerland where they will investigate the upflows in the lower solar corona using Solar Orbiter observations.
