During the AMS (American Meteorological Society) Conference on Mesoscale Processes, Alexander Lojko, a Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan Department of Climate and Space, was selected to receive an Outstanding Student Poster Presentation Award. His poster covered “The Role of North American Convective Storms on Jet Stream Dynamics: A Negative Potential Vorticity Perspective.” The AMS award was chosen amongst many presenters and recognizes the quality of both his work and his presentation.
