Dr. Chris Ruf, professor at the U-M Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering, had his research and efforts to combat plastic pollution in the ocean involving the CYGNSS Mission recognized in a new documentary “Plastic Earth.” The documentary was featured on “The Today Show” in a TV news segment titled “Rob Riggle shines spotlight on the problem with plastic in new doc.” This important work was also covered on ABC News.| March 17, 2023
