Dissertation Title: “Characterizing Heliospheric and Interstellar Interactions Using Pickup Ion Measurements”
Faculty Advisors: Associate Prof. Susan Lepri and Associate Research Scientist Jim Raines
After graduation, Dr. Spitzer will be continuing her research on the evolution of Heliosphere — interstellar interactions and expanding on the characterization for the SO-HIS instrument — as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Solar and Heliospheric Research Group in the U-M Department of Climate and Space Sciences.
