Dissertation Title: “Europa’s Plasma Interaction with Jupiter’s Magnetosphere: Characterizing Variability of the Plasma Interaction with Multi-Fluid MHD Simulations”
Faculty Advisor: Prof. Xianzhe Jia
Dr. Harris will be working as a NASA Postdoctoral Fellow at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where she will continue to study Europa through the development and application of simulations. She is affiliated with the Europa Clipper Magnetometer science team, and she will work with them through the anticipated launch of the mission in October 2024.
