Prof. Renno interviewed for Michigan Radio’s Stateside program

The planetary scientist discusses the possibility of extraterrestrial life in the wake of the creation of the new Department of Defense UFO group.

The U.S. Department of Defense recently announced the formation of the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG), which has been directed to “detect, identify and attribute objects of interests in Special Use Airspace (SUA), and to assess and mitigate any associated threats to safety of flight and national security.” The group will replace the U.S. Navy’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force.
