CLaSP doctoral candidate Garima Malhotra has been selected to receive a Distinguished Leadership Award from Michigan Engineering.
The Distinguished Leadership Award is given to undergraduate and graduate students of the College of Engineering who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the College, University, and community.
Ms. Malhotra’s research focuses on understanding how the lower atmosphere of the Earth controls the composition and dynamics of the ionosphere and thermosphere (upper atmosphere) using the numerical Global Ionosphere Thermosphere Model (GITM).
She is advised by Prof. Aaron Ridley.
