CLaSP doctoral candidate Sarah Spitzer has been selected to receive a Distinguished Leadership Award from Michigan Engineering.
The Distinguished Leadership Award is given to undergraduate and graduate students of the College of Engineering who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the College, University, and community.
Ms. Spitzer works in the Solar and Heliospheric Research Group studying interstellar pickup ions using in situ measurements as well as characterizing and designing new spaceflight hardware.
She is advised by Assoc. Prof. Susan Lepri and Assoc. Research Scientist Jim Raines.
