Moldwin Magnetics Laboratory:
My research here involves development of innovative magnetometer technology. Our instruments are being designed for various ground and space mission applications, e.g., small satellite science and operations, terrestrial and outer planet observation, Ionospheric current observations, etc.
Bougher Research Group:
I conduct data analysis research of Mars’ upper atmosphere, i.e., Ionosphere and Thermosphere. Topics include: planetary scale wave propagation observed in accelerometer mass densities collected by the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) mission spacecraft; atmospheric composition as measured remotely by the MAVEN Imaging Ultraviolet Spectrograph (IUVS); and upper atmospheric CO2 composition as measured by the MAVEN Extreme Ultraviolet Monitor (EUVM) during solar occultation campaigns.
