I skipped the first year in elementary school and the third year in high school, and then went to USTC as a student in School of Gifted Young.

Biography: ^top

Fuming Chang(常弗鸣) is a first year PhD student in the Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering. My research interests is space weather modelling with a focus on implementing machine learning methods to improve traditional simulation model. In addition to pursuing a PhD degree in Space Science, Fuming, as a MICDE fellow, will work on courses and research for a Graduate Certificate in Computational Discovery and Engineering. In June 2019, Fuming graduated from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) with a B.S. in geophysics. Beyond the academical setting, Fuming is interested in blockchain technology.
