Atmosphere - Biosphere Interactions

PROPHETThe terrestrial biosphere covers approximately 30% of the Earth’s surface, and vegetation plays an important role in the interaction between the land surface and the physical and chemical atmosphere. In Climate & Space, research on biosphere-atmosphere interactions includes both experimental and modeling studies on topics such as the emissions of trace gases from the biosphere, atmospheric deposition of gas and particle phase species, and boundary layer meteorology.
