B.A. Physics & Philosophy, Macalester College (2012)

I am an experimental space physicist who studies the solar wind at 1 AU using Faraday cup instruments on board the Wind spacecraft. My primary research focus is non-thermal proton signatures, in particular understading how and why protons have have a parallel heatflux that exceeds the limit predicted by Parker in 1964. I have also studied the variation of helium with solar cycle and worked on instrument development and callibration projects.
