REU Program Poster Fair

Date: August 1, 2018
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Location: CSRB Front Lobby

All are invited to stop by and visit the "End of Program Poster Fair" for our NSF Research Experience for Undergraduate students in the new CSRB front lobby.

We have been fortunate to have eight amazing students participate in the newest CLASP REU site program, the Program in Climate and Space Science Observation (PICASSO), over the past ten weeks.

The REU program is open to students from any academic discipline who are interested in exploring a potential career in the STEM fields of meteorology, climate, and space sciences. Program participants work closely with faculty, research staff, and graduate students to engage in research from a broad range of disciplines, including:

  • Meteorology
  • Climate science and adaptation planning
  • Atmosphere-biosphere interactions
  • Aerosols, and atmospheric chemistry, and air quality
  • Space-based remote sensing
  • Space-weather and planetary atmospheres.
Please take a moment to stop by and see the great work that this year's PICASSO Scholars have been doing during their time here in CLASP!

Light refreshments will be served.
