Our guest for this week's CLaSP Seminar Series will be Prof. Suzie Imber, of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leicester, UK . Please join us! 

Title: "Astronauts: 6 weeks of public engagement on the BBC"

Abstract: Dr Suzie Imber is an Associate Professor of planetary science at the University of Leicester in the UK, and last year was selected to take part in a BBC science-meets-reality-television programme called 'Astronauts:Do You Have What it Takes?' She’s also an elite rower and high altitude mountaineer, and will share her journey to appear on the show, her experiences of astronaut training on national television, and the opportunities and challenges associated with initiating a national program of public engagement.
