Title: “GLASP: Global Arsenic Pollution”

Abstract: There have been increasing concerns on toxic pollutants in the global environment, such as arsenic and mercury. They can be transported long distances in the atmosphere before depositing to the Earth surface. We investigate the global source-receptor relationships for these pollutants as well as the perturbations in the context of global change. The source-receptor relationships among various regions around the world are quantified with the global chemical transport model GEOS-Chem. Our results highlight the importance of international collaboration in addressing these global environmental problems.
