Professor Renno Receives 2017 Rackham Graduate School Master’s Mentoring Award

The Climate & Space department is very pleased to announce that Professor Nilton Renno has been selected to receive a 2017 Rackham Graduate School Master’s Mentoring Award.

Rackham Graduate School awards just two Master's Mentoring Awards each year, and the accolade is intended to recognize faculty from any discipline who are outstanding mentors to master’s students, especially for those students in programs for which the master’s is the ultimate degree.

The Rackham Master's Mentoring Awards honor mentors who, through a variety of forms, demonstrate commitment to fostering the intellectual, creative, and professional growth of their master's students.

A committee made up of faculty members who have also been recognized for outstanding mentorship reviews the award nominations. The recommendations of the committee are then sent to the Dean of the Graduate School, who makes the final selection. The awards will be formally presented at a ceremony on Thursday, April 17, 2017.

Congratulations, Professor Renno!
