Fouteenth Annual Michigan Geophysical Union Meeting

MGU will be hosting the 14th annual Michigan Geophysical Union student research symposium this year, an event sponsored by both Earth and Environmental Sciences (EARTH) and Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering (Climate & Space).

This year's symposium will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 from 9am-1pm, in the Great Lakes Room at Palmer Commons on the U-M Central Campus.

 

About MGU

MGU is a friendly forum designed to showcase and reward outstanding student research in various aspects of Earth, oceanic, atmospheric, and space sciences, as well as foster interdepartmental dialogue and camaraderie. All faculty, staff, graduate, and undergraduate students are encouraged to attend to learn about the exciting research that is taking place in the UM science community.

Poster Presentations May Win up to $500

Both graduate and undergraduate students are also invited to submit a poster, and all posters will be judged by department faculty (and could win up to $500!).

Abstracts are due by 11:59pm February 24th, 2017!
